Beatrice Morfit & Elizabeth Miller
Seniors at the Branson School, Beatrice Morfit and Elizabeth Miller first volunteered in Nogales, Mexico, teaching and connecting with women at a shelter for migrants. Their work led to workshops that transform personal stories into embroidered artworks, bringing these voices to wider communities.
Stitching hope into futures
Your donation directly helps sustain the embroidery program and storytelling workshops at La Casa de la Misericordia, funding materials and creative guidance for the women who take part. Together, we can help them grow beyond the shelter, building connection, dignity, and hope through art.
